For social workers across the state, 2020 is shaping up to be an important year for us as advocates. We must remain vigilant of proposals and changes coming from our federal government that will severely impact the populations we serve. We encourage all our members to be active this year and stay up to date with all NASW-CA has in store this year. This upcoming election will be one of the most important of our lifetimes, so we must remain clear-eyed about what’s at stake.
We’d also like to add, that self care is extremely important for everyone! Please make sure you make time to de-stress and enjoy special moments alongside your loved ones! Happy new year from everyone at NASW-CA!
