Free CEUs Event 

 

The California Department of Public Health, Office of Problem Gambling’s Annual Training Summit “Creating Pathways to a Brighter Future” will be held in Sacramento on March 21-22, 2018 at the Hilton Sacramento Arden West, 2200 Harvard St., Sacramento, CA 95815.

The Summit will include a variety of workshops from experts in prevention and treatment of gambling disorder. Individuals from the recovery community will share their first-hand experience with problem gambling behavior.

The 2-day event will feature presentations on:

  • Gambling and Substance Use Disorders; Dr. Richard Rosenthal, UCLA Gambling Studies
  • 12-Step Panel; Dr. Rory Reid, UCLA Gambling Studies Program
  • Keeping Pace with the Changing Tides of Gaming and Gambling: Julie  Hynes, Lane County Public Health
