As launched at the 2014 APM in Tampa, Florida, and on behalf of the CSWE Council on Leadership Development, we are very pleased to support the two 2015 Summer Leadership Scholarship Programs. Begin your online application process here to meet the December 29, 2014, receipt deadline.

CSWE 2015 Summer Leadership Scholarship Programs

1. Harvard Institute of Higher Education (HIHE)

This program is a joint effort with the Harvard Institutes of Higher Education (HIHE) for the participation of CSWE-recommended persons in HIHE summer residential sessions. Up to three scholarships covering 50% of the program tuition are available for deans, associate deans, directors, program directors, and administrators to participate in the Harvard programs.

 Participants

• The Harvard Management Development Program (MDP) is designed for deans, associate deans, directors, program directors, and other administrators. It will be held May 31–June 12, 2015.
• The Institute for Management and Leadership in Education (MLE) is designed for seasoned administrators. It will be held June 14–26, 2015.
• Both programs are open to CSWE-selected participants. HIHE reserves the right to redirect applicants to the more appropriate program and to accept or refuse applicants.

Timeline

• Monday, December 29, 2014 (11:59 pm ET): Receipt deadline for online submission of CSWE 2015 Summer Leadership Scholarship application form, CV/resume, and two letters of recommendation. Access the application form here; refer to the bottom of page two for a breakdown of the tuition funding for this scholarship.
• Friday, January 16, 2015: CSWE notifies applicants; accepted applicants begin the HIHE application process.
• Friday, February 13, 2015: Admissions deadline for HIHE.

2. Higher Education Resource Services (HERS) Bryn Mawr Summer Institute for Women in Higher Education Administration

• This program is a joint effort with the HERS Bryn Mawr Summer Institute 2015 for the participation of CSWE-recommended persons. Up to three scholarships covering 50% of the program tuition are available for women in social work higher education administration. It will be held July 13–25, 2015.

Participants

• Each summer since 1976 the HERS Bryn Mawr Summer Institute for Women in Higher Education Administration has provided a residential program with an intensive leadership and management curriculum for approximately 70 women faculty and administrators on the Bryn Mawr College campus.
