The Chinese American Coalition for Compassionate Care (CACCC), in collaboration with AARP, AARP California, the Coalition for Compassionate Care of California (CCCC) and the Institute on Aging (IOA), presents two free professional healthcare forums: Compassion in Action: When East Meets West:

  • Tuesday, October 2: featuring Dignity Health internist Jeffrey Yee, MD, a leader and proponent of advance care planning and CCCC CEO Judy Thomas, JD, plus a panel of end-of-life care experts at the Sierra Health Foundation in Sacramento
  • Friday, October 5: featuring keynote speaker, Lily Liu, AARP Historian Emerita and AARP Multicultural Family Caregiver Spokesperson and featuring Anne Kinderman, MD, Director, Supportive & Palliative Care Services, Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital, plus a panel of end-of-life care experts, at the Institute on Aging in San Francisco
