“Recently, the ASWB released data which highlighted inequities and disparities in social work exam pass rates based on race, age, language, and gender. As the need for diverse and multilingual licensed clinical social workers continues to rise, any barriers to obtaining an LCSW based on race, age, language, and gender present a disservice to the public and the profession as a whole.”
– CADD/NASW-CA Joint Statement on ASWB Data
Join us on Thursday, November 3rd, as we create a space to honor our thoughts and feelings around these issues while engaging in a collective brainstorm about what we should do next. Attendees will have a chance to develop a deeper understanding of the ASWB exam data to inform future advocacy plans. Please share this event with your social work networks and peers. This event is free and open to all.
Please contact Raquel Ibarra at ribarra.naswca@socialworkers.org with any questions.
