BBS Removes “Processing Times” Section of Their Website

The California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) has announced that they are removing the “processing times” section of their website. Because this section only applied to applications submitted with supervised hours and these applications are now being processed in a timely manner, they found it was best to remove the information from their website.

Furthermore, they found that with the examination restructure and the addition of the Law and Ethics exam application, the “processing times” section was confusing since it only applied to the supervised hours applications.

Questions concerning applications can be directed to Kim Madsen, Executive Officer, at (916) 574-7830  or kim.madsen@dca.ca.gov.
