This workshop will benefit social workers and advocates working in aging services and/or with dependent disabled adults in California. Participants will develop knowledge on micro and macro issues faced by victims of elder/depended adult abuse.

Presenter Bio: Miles McNeeley, LCSW
Miles McNeeley, LCSW is the Director of the Elder Abuse Prevention Program at WISE & Healthy Aging. He oversees operations of the Holistic Elder Abuse Response Team (HEART) including case management, therapy, and outreach. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Mr. McNeeley is a member of various elder abuse prevention workgroups and coalitions in Los Angeles County, including the Los Angeles County Elder Abuse Forensic Center and the Stop Scams Task Force. He has presented on elder abuse topics at the National Adult Protective Services Association and National Center for Victims of Crime annual meetings.
